Come Learn, Consider, and Discuss

So excited to invite you to our Charlotte Mason study group for this upcoming school year!
Whether you are a new or experienced homeschooler, and no matter what curriculum you use, this book will provide vision, wisdom, and inspiration for you as a parent and teacher. It’s THE classic intro to Charlotte Mason, so it’s a great time to come if you’re new to the Mason Philosophy, and it’s a great time to invite a friend! (And if you’re not new, it’s always a good time to pause and reorient yourself to the basics of this applied methodology!) We’d love to see you!
August 2026-July 2027
We’ll be reading two books:
1. Up next in our rotation of Charlotte Mason volumes is volume 3, School Education. This covers tons of topics, as always, and has a lot to say about official school lessons. If you have school age kids, this is ever so helpful. If you still are in the “little years,” its never too early to wrap your mind around what is happening with all these “books and things.”
2. We’ll also be reading Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren. This is a lovely book to balance School Education and will help is live with attention, presence and relational joy throughout all those ordinary moments outside school that make up our lives.
We’re so excited go read these books together and continue our growth as parents and teachers! Plan to join us on the 4th Tuesdays, 7-9pm at Bethany Baptist Church in Peoria!
